EDIT, Turin, Italy
Elements of the 375 collection – armchairs, sofas, stools, ottomans, in a palette ranging from purple to violet – dot the interiors of the brand new establishment EDIT, in the heart of a post-industrial area in Turin, Italy. Acronym of Eat Drink Innovate Together, this holistic and innovative concept combines gastronomic experimentation with conviviality.
Born out of entrepreneur Marco Brignone’s vision, EDIT comprises a brewery, shared kitchens for anyone wanting to try a hand at cooking, a bakery, a pub, a cocktail bar and a restaurant with an expansive open kitchen. The venue’s industrial appearance, at the hand of local architecture studio lamatilde, is characterized by raw concrete elements, black metal, and exposed industrial electrical conduit and piping. These austere, aseptic finishes and fixtures act as a perfect backdrop to the 375 pieces, jumping to one’s attention with their warm colors and plush upholstery. It is a place dedicated to the world of food and beverage in liaison with two contemporary socio-economic trends: co-working and sharing.
